A presence does not begin when it is recognized.

It does not form in the moment it becomes visible.

It remains—prior to attention, prior to meaning—

unannounced, without arrival.

Nothing in it asks to be seen.

Nothing in it depends on being understood.

It does not follow change.

It does not respond to it.

It is simply there—

before the shift, before the fracture, before the need to name.

What is encountered here is not something that appeared,

but something that was already present.

Not hidden.

Not revealed.

Only noticed.
